For me the silicone mouthpiece is everything in this bottle. No accidentally hitting my front teeth with a bottle (which I seem to do more than I think is normal). It does not drip from liquid residues in the thread or closure, nor from the sides of the wide mouth opening. It is very convenient to drink from it. Less than 1 star I don't recommend a sun dried water bottle. (Silicone is right under your nose). 2-The hole was so small you can't put it could' not add ice and it's difficult to fill from a fountain or fridge sink.3-Due to the small hole, it's also very difficult to wash and also dry.Water drops left in mine for a few days which I however could not remove completely the bottle was open and left in the dryer.
