For vehicles where the spark plugs are deep in the engine this connector is a good choice. No more unplugging the extension cord from the socket in the engine!

This is the thing to have and use when removing a spark plug where the metal plug of the spark plug wire or coil may still be attached to the top of the spark plug.

I had a loose end of the spark plug wire in the hardest to reach cylinder on a Toyota Sienna. I spent over an hour trying to get a deep 5/8" wrench on this stupid thing or pry off a spark plug clip. This head arrived today, I pulled out the rubber insert with a screwdriver and I had the connector removed in less than two minutes. money well spent. The hexagonal part only goes a few centimeters and gets narrower, but there is still enough space in the hollow part to clear the obstacle.
