In theory this would be great as the size and shape are perfect. However, paint had popped out of the box and when I put it back together several pieces of wood had snapped. I didn't over tighten the bolts and the cracks appeared before the bolts were fully tightened. It's just very poor quality MDF in combination with pre-drilled holes that are too small. It was a lot cheaper than the other options so I think I got what I paid for.

Fairly easy to assemble and strong enough for our little baby, but as she gets older we'll probably buy a nicer model that can hold more weight. My main complaint is how sharp the corners and edges are on the platform. and there is a step. My little one can't get off him at all without him scratching her which is very frustrating. Worst product for our precious baby. The holes were too big in the first two pieces I tried to put together, so the screws didn't hold them together. It's only good as a paperweight. I tried to negotiate with the seller but he made me pay $35 for the return postage even though I offered to show a video of the problem. Everything about this step stool is great except one thing: it can tip over! We've had it for a few months and have always wondered if our 2 year old would be able to knock it down. Updated review after 3 months of use: My now 17 month old uses it regularly. He loves to climb onto the countertop and be with us, so it's an item we use on a daily basis. Unfortunately, I stand by my original assessment that it is indeed fragile. If you look at the design, you can see that it's a bit heavy and the legs aren't strong enough to prevent it from tipping over.
