This is actually a good product with a bad description. For me it's more of a shading lens. I've actually started the return process, but when I decided to try it, I put it on my welder's hood along with the 11 tint lens and it's bright as day. This improves the visibility of your weld. I would buy again and recommend.

This is a plastic filter that you put behind a passive welding lens. (Works best with a glass gold lens). Still, it's not as good as the Wens lens, and considering it's not a $135 lens, don't expect it either. However, it cuts the glare but leaves your puddle orange, which isn't too bad for my eyes, at least, as the blue tint and orange puddle contrast well, making them easier to see.

Don't overdo it. This lens is nowhere near as good as my AO Cool Blue lens. It doesn't cut out as much glare as true cobalt blue lens. It also doesn't help much with tired eyes. Too bad I didn't pay $50 for a soft plastic lens that got scratched when I put it in my hood. I could not ethically return it due to the scratches although they are not visible.
