Just the right size for a large and heavy bowl. Wrong shape for a dish with curved edges. Jimmy had to add a hanger to the back so it could hang flat on the wall.

I liked the way this holder was made, easy to fit compared to metal holders, but it arrived unassembled as all the springs broke off during shipping. It took about 20 minutes to assemble and was well worth it.

I bought this for a large and heavy slab which is now hanging on the wall as a decorative item. None of the local stores were this size so I decided to shop at Revain and voila! Found exactly what I was looking for!

I needed to hang a 13.5" diameter cymbal. This plate rack was too big. I had to remove a set of springs and stiffen them Replace wire Everything worked fine when I did this, but definitely the specified 13-16 inch range is not accurate.

These plate hangers are advertised to fit plates from 13-16 inches up to 4.5 pounds. They fit large cymbals, mine are 16" but can't handle 4.5lbs. The springs on the temple are too big and don't fit snugly to the plate. If you try to hang the plate, the ends of the hooks will loosen and the plate will fall. The unit holds up well and securely, obviously designed to properly hang the weight it was designed for. Unless this item is very flat, any curvature of the edge or side will cause the hanger to flex and conform to that curvature. However, this adjustment shifts the area where the wall hook attaches FROM THE FLAT BACK and shifts the attachment point to the curve. So the item is NOT STRAIGHT ON THE WALL, but its underside is being pushed forward, away from the wall, so the item must be tilted to

The hangar works great but it's too weak for the weight this cymbal can support so I had to say this now

This plate holder is very durable. He is holding a very large decorative bowl, quite heavy. My only complaint is that the picture hook for hanging was tiny. In no case is a large disk supported. So make sure you have a more durable picture hook to hang. Otherwise a good product.
