Super Poligrip Original Formula Zinc-Free Denture and Partials Adhesive Cream - Twin Pack (2.4oz x 2) Review

Didn't see it was mint flavored. This is not stated on the packaging photos nor in the title. I had to go back to the listing afterword to find it in the detailed description. Who needs a mint flavor when it's applied right before a meal? Mint flavor aside, the applicator tip is great and works well.

The taste of the product corresponds to that of dental glue. It's a little overwhelming for me and Poligrip doesn't stick - it "melts" and becomes sticky/falls apart when I have a cup of coffee or tea. It feels like my dentures are falling out. Polygrip Gold is a more persistent product with no taste. I haven't been able to find it lately. I've only used Polygrip so I don't know how it compares to other denture adhesives.

What I love about this product is that it works better than anything I've tried and the original pink Poligrip works better than other Poligrip they do. It's sticky and sometimes it can be painful to get out, but that's why I buy this type of denture adhesive, it lasts. The gold colored polygrip doesn't hold that well and I just don't like the feel. I've tried other brands of dentures but end up with 99% other denture creams that I throw away. The original Polygrip was hard to come by in stores

Usually my dentures suck well. I only have upper dentures. Sometimes I need glue. It is great. Excellent hold. Lasts all day. Amazing taste. My problem arises when it is time to remove the prosthesis. This material is similar to concrete. I need to heat the hot water as much as I can and keep rinsing. Not really a complaint as I'd rather have too much support than too little.

Excellent all day adhesion, maybe too good? I struggled to clear it at night. For me, this cannot be everyday. I used regular strength but it didn't have enough adhesion and I still had trouble cleaning it. I use Sea Bond which stays in place for hours and then pops out easily; it doesn't last all day. This is perfect for me because I love getting my new teeth out when I get home.
