Not worth the hype: my feedback

My analysis of this tool showed that it was not up to industry standards. The grip was weak, the wrench was difficult to maneuver and it did not fit all filter sizes.

Well made metal filter wrench

This key is larger and heavier than the plastic keys offered. It fits snugly into the filter housing and requires very little effort to loosen or tighten the housing. The length of the handle can interfere with adjacent filters, so careful wrench placement is required. This wrench is 2 or 3 times more expensive than the plastic wrenches offered, but I think it's worth the money.

If your water filter uses screw-top canisters, you need these!

Every time I need to change filters I use at least 1 plastic wrench. And they almost always broke down in the middle of a task, leaving me with no way of completing it without ordering a new one and waiting for it to arrive. Then I found this little beauty! The handle makes removal and reinstallation so easy it's almost silly to even consider it a chore! If you still use plastic filter keys even if they've never broken before, please throw them away and get one of these! You will never regretโ€ฆ
