It looked exactly like the signature Targus case I had on my iPad 2 for about three years and wore it like a champ. Actually this was my second Targus case for the same iPad but my first one was the same length. Fits my iPad 2 BUT weak in composition. My iPad was NOT secure, if I dropped it on any surface my iPad would pop out of the case. In an attempt to make the body light, cheap materials are used. This product doesn't even deserve one star for its price and looks. And the reason is that it keeps my iPad very free. It doesn't hold it as well as previous cases/holders. It's cheap, but it's really expensive. I found the price low because there aren't many 2nd generation iPads left. Apparently it's not the reason. Other reviews mentioned receiving defective/broken items but mine was packaged very well. the skin stays on. Our 6 year old very dirty boy at home is quite rough with it and often gets food etc on him and he keeps it up! We wipe it down with Clorox wipes very often and it's fine. looks good too. This case fits my old 9.5 inch iPad so I'm very glad I still have a suitable one shell can get. New iPads have large screens. However, this case does not fold all the way back to allow the flat screen to fold forward. I need it to place on my treadmill shelf so I can watch videos while running on the treadmill.
