This whole system is cheap and flimsy. The metal is thin and I wouldn't trust it under load. Also looks cheap and has a lot of wobble no matter what you do. It takes a lot of LARGE holes in your walls to install them and the anchors they give are one time deals. Whatever you get wrong. Luckily I didn't have to change anything.

Here's a cheap plastic hook. If you have a full clothes rail, everything will collapse. I am very disappointed in this whole line of products. We ended up abandoning the entire ClosetMaid system and installing a thick wooden pole with metal brackets. Much stronger and superior. Save yourself trouble and frustration.
