📿 Suunto X-Lander Tactical Strap Set Review

Item arrived on time and was packaged in a clear plastic bag with SUUNTO printed on it. Thank goodness I didn't throw away the original pins from the second strap I bought. After several unsuccessful attempts to fit a new bracelet with what were supposed to be new pins, I removed the old pins and found that the new pins were too short! Used old pins to attach new straps to watch. A very disappointing experience considering how much I paid for this watch strap!

I bought these straps for my husband's watch. He loves his Suunto watches, wears them to death and we end up replacing the strap when the little lug breaks and falls off. The strap is ok but the little tongue doesn't last as long and the strap gets loose. The husband would rather exchange them than ask the watchmaker for a new tongue. Sometimes that's not an option when he's deployed, so he likes to have a spare strap. Very happy with this purchase.

I bought an X-Lander military watch in 2014. The strap broke in 2017 so I bought a replacement strap. It's January 2019 and it broke again in the same place. Both times it broke just above the buckle! It's hard to find anyone making a replacement strap for this watch. At this rate, I'm spending as much as I spent on those stupid watches! The watch is great but the strap sucks! Not worth the headache! I will never buy a Suunto product again. Finland doesn't know how to make a good product!

Hubby broke the strap on his watch and luckily we found the strap he needed at Revain and the price was no less than other places we looked. It was essentially the exact same strap he already had on his watch, except it didn't break. The pins were a bit stiff, but I took that as a good sign that they won't break or break, but will last a long time. I would definitely recommend this strap to anyone looking for a replacement for their Suunto X-Lander Military Watch.

No problems with ordering or receiving but this strap sucks. replaced (and then reordered) my old plastic, which only lasts 2 years at best, with this one. thought it would be hard. I liked the way it looked but the strap has some sort of slot on the end that fits the bracket that the strap slides through to hold the end. what a problem. Removing this thing is the biggest pain. Went back to synthetics and happy. I threw this one away - I hate it.

The look and material for this watch strap is very good, but the actual design of the strap allows the stylus to hold the stylus Band, the watch case does not fit properly. I ordered a form here and one from the site itself. Unfortunately the problem was exactly the same. The interchangeable longer strap without a buckle appears to have some sort of defect on the left side where it attaches to the watch. I've been trying for hours to get it but no luck.
