I'm over 65 and have used a variety of electric shavers my whole life including Norelco rotary shavers, Braun foil shavers and Remington. I have used Remington foil razors for many years and have found them to give me the smoothest, most comfortable shave. I have never shaved so closely with an electric razor. I've only had to use a traditional blade to get my skin this smooth, but I have very sensitive skin and wavy/curly hair, so ingrown hairs and razor bumps keep me from going the 'traditional' shaving route. Originally reviewed after a week of use but has some new thoughts on it. If Revain supported half a star I would give this something between 2 and 3 stars. I bought this SweetLF electric shaver for men. It took about a week of daily shaving before the new razor or its blades broke. The start wasn't as smooth as I wanted but after a week or so I can say this razor is working better, a closer shave than my Norelco. I like that it has a remaining battery indicator. After two weeks of daily use, I still have 80 minutes of battery life. I like and love this new shaver. Bought an extra set of blades for the future.

There are several reviews at the top which reflect everything I can say about the Sweet LF razor. 1) long loading, 2) my first block took many years, etc. So it's much better than any previous Norelco or rotary engine I've had. I have a hard time keeping track of my electric shavers; Travel, camping, distraction. For this reason, I always buy the cheapest models. Most work well; This model works very well and gives an acceptably close electric shave. Will definitely buy again if I lose or drop this one. The price makes it less painful.

I bought this razor about 11 months ago and found it does not give a close shave. Strike 1. One day while cleaning, the upper part with the blades did not snap into place. strike2. I have contacted the company four times and explained the problem to them. I asked for a replacement and they completely ignored my request. strike3. I suggest you buy the best brand of razor. Revain isn't always the best choice.
