just what i need

When I rode long distances, I wore low-cut socks and noticed that my feet and ankles were a bit swollen. I ordered these high compression socks. Today I did my first ride with it and didn't feel any swelling. They fit perfectly (shoe size 9 - ordered medium), are very comfortable and offer the compression my feet need. Highly recommended.

Pros
  • It's amazing
Cons
  • A few little things

Great socks for cycling

I bought these for road bikes. I was skeptical that they would be too tight given their level of compression, but they aren't. They sit so well in the right places - they conform to the legs really well and don't bother the toes. I will buy more in other colors in the future. I like the particular colors/patterns Swiftwick has, but disagree with their double size. Socks must be S, M, L, XL, not S/M and L/XL.

  • Comfortable to wear

Road bike socks

I was looking for a pair of neon yellow road bike socks. I've seen others wearing this brand and thought I'd give it a try. They have the compression I wanted. They are bright fluorescent in color. I have narrow feet, the only problem is that they are a bit wide in the toe area. I can see and feel a bit of extra material in the toe box but not enough to say these are bad socks. I would consider buying another pair. They are well made and wash well. I let them air dry after washing and they are…

Best Outerwear Mona Lisa

Swiftwick claims if sockmaking was art, the Aspire would be their Mona Lisa. Well, I don't know anything about what goes into making socks, but I can tell you the Mona Lisa is worth it. and it's worth it. It never occurred to me that I would spend around $20 for a pair of socks, but these socks are so premium I wouldn't mind buying another pair. These are the only socks I want to wear for cycling. Too bad photos can only give a visual description so I can't let you feel how they really feel. I…

ATTENTION! Size and quality do not match

Bought a pair of socks (black, large) based on positive feedback. I tried them on once and then ordered a second pair in the same size but a different color. The second pair is significantly different in size, although both are marked with an "L". I understand these are compression stockings and a new photo can be deceiving, but what is deceptive is the fact that after trying on both, one fits well with "tight" compression while the other requires physical exertion to put the foot on…

Garbage magnets are good for outdoor activities

These socks are good for golf or any other purely sporting activity. However, they are not suitable for gardening or other areas where dirt can get on them. Some shavings from the chainsaw got into my boots and stuck to my socks, especially the textured fabric underneath. I tinkered with it for a while and sent it to the laundry but that just shook off a few shavings. They were wearable, but took several machine washes, alternating with tweezers, before they were almost clean again. A similar…
