This Krytox stuff is expensive no matter where you buy it. If you are new to this hobby you will find that it is highly regarded as a lube. I bought it and immediately understood why it has such a reputation. Great lube and this little jar is enough for most beginners working on 1 or 2 builds. This will take a while. I opened my package to find two broken brushes and an oddly small jar. (Ordered before size is listed in title) Even if it's not a lot, you can probably cover 80+ switches. if you do it right Was a bit flimsy but worked well. After careful research I bought some Krytox 205g0 for $7.25 from another site. Shipping is $5 with some other items. For about the same price, it's much better quality and you get a lot more. Don't take it, just buy the real stuff.

Just got into keyboard modding and was looking for an alternative to Krytox as it was a bit pricey everywhere. I've used Gateron Yellow switches and can say they work well for smoothing out the feel. The included brushes are a bit cheap but do the job. However, I had to apply a little more than I thought I would to keep the switches from scratching. I recommend it to those who are interested in hobbies.
