does not stay cut was for a Halloween costume so I managed. Wouldn't use it for anything other than a suit and wouldn't recommend it if you want to make a fashion statement.

I have a 28 inch waist and weigh 135 pounds. Not fat. These straps come undone every time I sit or walk. - Hm. Forgive me while I was putting on my seat belt that almost tore your face in, I promise I didn't eat a cow on the way here!

The straps are comfortable to wear as the elastic band keeps the straps snug without being too tight. One complaint is that the "buckle" part doesn't snap into place. So when you eat a big dinner or have a "belly," it tends to bulge. I used a paper clip to secure it (for minimal impact I clipped it through the metal piece via the underside of the buckle) and it worked like a charm. A belt looks good when you want to accentuate your waist or accessorize your dress.

I really wanted to give 5 stars. I gave 4 stars despite the issues because if I could find a way to get it working (tape or whatever, when will I have it?) that would be great! But I wore it 3 times and every time I put it on the strap came loose and popped out at least 4 times. Literally 12 times in the first 3 carries. Nice? Yes, good price? Yes. Functional? no Shame as the clasp was the best thing about these belts as you didn't have to deal with gold or silver buckles which might not suit…

I must have dreamed I was a 1950's working class girl like Laverne and Shirley, or maybe an 80's babysitter with a nasty voice, Fran.
