💡 Sylvania 18491 25W Tubular Incandescent Bulb Review

This purchase was a mistake. While the bulb corresponds to a location inside the globe, the filament assembly is visible as a line crossing halfway across the outer surface. Should have bought the matte version.

The filament wears out spontaneously and the bulb burns out tonight after only two months of use in a stable home office environment with regular daily use (including two weeks of inactivity when I'm not at home was - cities). I'm still not sure if it's a good or bad thing that I bought two.

I like the product and the Sylvania name for its reliability. It was exactly as described and what I needed. But this item costs $3.99 as an add-on, which should bring you a big discount. When the item arrived, the price of $3.01 was listed on the bottom of the package.

I have ordered two of these. The first one didn't work, I've tried three different lamps in my house with no success. The second works great in my grandfather clock. Anyway I asked to replace 1 which didn't work. And I was asked to return the one that didn't work. So i have. Anyway, got 2 replacements in the mail today, despite saying only 1 didn't work. So I'm not sure if I'll be charged for a replacement part or asked to ship it back.
