I absolutely despise these bulbs. I was trying to order 26W/E/41k bulbs and I thought I had ordered. I now have 10 additional 26w/TE/41k bulbs of which I already have about 20. Thanks to Amazon's "Fast Match" search results, I ordered the wrong light bulbs.

Pros
  • Base Type: GX24q-3
Cons
  • Out of fashion

Ideal for kitchens with 1800 lumens.

We have these in our kitchen. I've considered replacing the lights with LEDs, but there aren't any good 5-6 inch lights that can put out 1800 lumens like this. So, after 8 years, it's time to replace the light bulbs. They burned out but grew weaker and weaker. The new bulbs are good and bright. Hope they last as long. By then, LEDs are expected to be able to deliver 1800 lumens. I needed 8 so I have 2 spares.

Pros
  • Lifespan: 12,000
Cons
  • Some bugs

Satisfied with the product

I was skeptical about purchasing these lamps based on the "received damaged" reviews but thought it might be possible as I was desperate for lamps for my home. Ordered 2 packs of 10, all lights arrived intact and in perfect condition. Perhaps some of the reviewers here were just unlucky with getting broken lights, perhaps because the carrier's packages were mishandled. Yes, these lights generally need to "warm up" to reach full brightness, but I believe that's just the nature of PLT-4PIN…

Pros
  • Lumens: 1800
Cons
  • There are other interesting options.
