No quality control Or they just don't care.

The bulbs were of poor quality, had to send them back, many chips on the white. dreadful. I buy these lamps all the time and they are usually great and not so much.

Cons

Old rotten lightbulbs are good for lightbulbs

Look at these lightbulbs! I don't even think they will work and I wouldn't even dare put them in my new floor lamp. It's terrible. They look old and used and the part they all bolt to is rusted and worn. i give them back

Pros
  • Few competitors
Cons
  • Very expensive

Disappointed with the quality of this lamp.

Disappointed with these bulbs. They aren't cheap. My dog hit a table that had a lamp on it (that lamp stood on it). The lamp did not tip over or even sway, but all the filaments were broken. Not a single watt could withstand the blow.

Pros
  • Pleasant to use
Cons
  • There are cons

Hard to find in stores

I used to buy this from Revain. It is no longer available at my local hardware stores. We have four three way lamps in our house and we like the ability to change the brightness from time to time. It is much cheaper than 3-way energy-saving light bulbs. I will continue to buy them in the future.

Pros
  • Free for educational purposes
Cons
  • No instructions

Nice warm light at a great price!

I love these vintage style bulbs! Nice warm light that I know from my childhood. LED light no longer hurts eyes. Keep in mind that these types of bulbs get hotter than LEDs. Therefore, check the recommended wattage of your lamp. DO NOT buy a higher wattage bulb as this may cause a fire or melt the socket.

Pros
  • Hands-free operation
Cons
  • Available in white only

Where are you from?

I've been buying light bulbs for a long time and I've never seen a product this cheap. I have carefully inspected the packaging for any signs of counterfeiting. Have they been used and repackaged? Definitely not a three-way bulb; rather so-so double-sided. I even get a little nervous using them at all. DO NOT BUY!

Pros
  • Great for me

The packaging is damaged and the bulbs are not securely protected

These Sylvania bulbs were packaged rather casually, the packaging and the bulbs look old (like from the 70's) so I'm wondering if if they work. Compare this to the nice pack of GE lightbulbs I bought from another seller which looked like they came from Fort Knox, they are so well protected. Big difference!

Pros
  • Sample for a year
Cons
  • Long delivery time

1 OF 2 DOESN'T WORK

1 of 2 bulbs DO NOT WORK! They were bubble wrapped but still 1 bulb out of 2 packs of $7 3 way bulbs DOES NOT WORK AT ALL. I have yet to decide if I want to repackage and return both bulbs which requires a queue during a pandemic or if I want to bear the cost of paying for one bulb. Just sending back the dead is not possible. Save yourself the hassle: DO NOT order these lamps.

Pros
  • Pleasant
Cons
  • Obsolete Model

It only took 4 months - and then capu!

No wonder LED bulbs are gaining the upper hand. These SYLVANIA bulbs - BOTH - didn't even last 4 months. I know $7 isn't that much money, but these things underperformed some of the other brands that want to know. The problem is that knockoffs are much cheaper. So I pulled the dead SYLVANIA bulb out of the lightbulb and plugged it into a standard 75 watt (equivalent) LED bulb. The only good thing here is the very pleasant sound of broken glass when I banged it on the burning barrel.

Pros
  • Best
Cons
  • Ugly packaging
