My wife prefers a longer coat than this, almost to the knees. But she says it's good quality. It fits her well and can be useful for more active activities like sledding with kids. I agree that their longer one is more stylish and slimmer, but I find them a bit tight.

This jacket is warm! Well sewn, there are spacious pockets. The zip moves up and down with ease, while the hood protects your head and neck from the elements. I ordered red wine in a small. I have a feeling the color is more like a winterberry than a wine and runs a bit small. The fur lining around the hood looks a bit cheap, but it can be removed. Overall I think this is a wonderful mid length jacket. This jacket arrived on time, well packaged and in brand new condition.

This coat's name says 'short' but I had no idea how short it was. The photos show a gathered waist at the back, which makes the waist appear to fall and the hem of the coat covers at least most of the buttocks. But on my 5'4" daughter, this coat barely hits the waist and she went up a size because she likes oversized pieces.
