Wonderfully soft and cozy. Perfect for wrapping up a cup of tea and a good book, big enough to snuggle up with your significant other, and you don't have to fight over how much blanket you get! I bought a larger size. Color is ivory, not washed yet. Had a very mild "smell" which I believe to be preservative chemicals. (New clothes etc. have the same smell.)
