The belt buckle has scratches and dents after a month but given the price and the amount of stuff you get it's worth the money. The sling itself is comfortable and practical, and if you're in the military it may be legal depending on the unit and mission. The pouch is honestly stolen, it's surprisingly high quality and has been abused by me at work but it still works. There's nothing wrong with this adjustable nylon strap. The photo is for "reference purposes". IF the "belt loops" of your pants can accept buckles, then and only then can you thread the buckles through the belt loops. In my case this is not the case. I had to "thread" the nylon strap through the PAGE WITH "BESTKEE" on it. There is a clasp on the buckle that books the belt in place. The opposite side is "attached” to a nylon strap.
