Very nice shoes. The patent leather trim is beautiful. They are comfortable if a bit tight. I can't put them on without a shoehorn, although I'm sure that will change once they're outside. I found the soles a bit slippery - wouldn't wear them on a wet or icy day. The pair I received was a bit uneven. The right shoe fits well but the left one is a bit tight. They're a lot harder to put on than real ones, which is why I'm deducting a star from this rating - other than that, they're great shoes!

In terms of fit and support this is a very good shoe. They fit my son exactly as he expected for his size and for dress shoes they were quite comfortable - not like wearing sneakers but you wouldn't wear them to a sneaker occasion. They look and feel well made. One word of warning to the potential buyer --- make sure you really want VERY shiny shoes! I've never seen anything so shiny in a shoe! Not long ago I was shopping at the mall and found a tuxedo for a good price. My 12 year old son is still growing and needs a new pair of classic shoes. He used to wear a size 9 pair so we opted for a size 10 to give him room to grow. They were still HUGE about him. He switched to 9 1/2" shoes so he figured it wouldn't be so bad. We were wrong. Personally I'm a size 11 1/2 and these fit me in a size 10. Otherwise they look great. Definitely shiny and comfortable when he finally grew up in it.
