Tandy Leather Heavyweight Natural 4530 00 Review

I thought it was a blank for a belt. nope! Just a sinking strip of skin! Now I need to buy more to make the belt my son needs! Dissatisfied.

Only those who do not understand what a strip of cowhide leather is will be dissatisfied with this product. Tandy is Leather is my source for leather items and these straps are perfect for belts and holsters. They are around 8-9 ounces and vegetable tanned.

Not exactly what I expected. Strip width is 1-3/16" instead of 1.25" as advertised. And it can make a big difference in some crafts. At least in my case it matters. At least it matters to my quality than to delivering a good product. On the other hand, the base skin is not bad. I can turn them into something other than what I planned so it's not a total loss. I guess after spending my whole life buying products from one department after another I'm just sick of it.
