I really wanted to like this as it cleared up a lot of clutter in the console. But it keeps popping up when the road gets bumpy. And the DVR keeps complaining that it cannot recognize the USB drive. This is a 2021 model.

A lot easier to install than I thought. Works with two wired game controllers. I just tipped it slightly as instructed by the instructions and it only took me a few seconds to get a feel for where the USB ports were and it snapped into place. Well made and unbeatable for the price. I love it so far.

Fits and works great in my early Model Y! My phone charges much faster than the OEM connector. It is not clear (and not documented) which ports have data. My phone reports USB charging, not AC power on both USB-A ports. The SD card reader in the internal slot may be blocking data. This would explain the speed but not the USB mode in my battery app. Anyway, I still don't use a gamepad.

I recently discovered that my Tesla can play FLAC audio files, but I didn't have enough USB ports to have a flash drive to record from the camera as well as a hard drive full of music before the purchase of this item. I now have a contact car charger, a Seagate USB hard drive, a USB flash drive and an Xbox One controller connected all at the same time. And everyone works at the same time. Very happy!

Easy to install. Just have a little patience and it will connect. It looks good and fits well when fitted. However, if you buy it for SSD storage for sentries and camera recording, it won't work. When I plug the SSD directly into Tesla's USB socket, it turns on and works great. When I insert an SSD into the TAPTES USB slot, the SSD is not recognized. USB ports have been changed for 2021 Y model. Only the USB 3.0 port in the glove box records video in DVR and Sentry modes.

Product as described including easy installation. The built-in USB port has been expanded to two and one USB-C. Plus a hidden compartment that has an extra USB. Highly recommended if needed.

Perfect fit. Mates with existing front panel USB ports (1 USB-C and 1 USB 2.0). Don't buy this if you're in 2021 with a new console. It is more flexible to use 1 USB flash drive for Sentry (hidden in the bottom compartment of the hub) and another USB flash drive for audio. Good device at a lower price than others.
