Great sound in a compact package

Great sound in a compact size. No remote cable; it turns on when a signal is detected on the inputs. I'm using this to control the center speakers in my car system!

Pros
  • Certified
Cons
  • quality

Tiny Amplifier PSU

I used this tiny PSU in a custom project for a kart, motorcycle and UTV overhead stereo. This little amp is amazing. I highly recommend this device if you want to save space and connect multiple speakers.

Pros
  • Weight
Cons
  • High Price

That does not work. No sound from the speakers.

Zero sound - not even crackling - from the speakers. All cables triple checked. It just doesn't work. Wanted to use it for some Infinity 5020cs components, 5"-1/14" mids and 1" tweets. They work without an amp. I know how to hook up an amp. Just installed 6 speakers, all have one Amplifiers other than Infinity and they all work great.

Pros
  • Absolute legend
Cons
  • boring packaging

Louder than a cheap car radio. EASY TO INSTALL

Cons I didn't realize this amp only went down to 50Hz. Well suited for high frequencies, somewhat missing mids, bass. tested on several speakers. Easy installation! The main unit turns this on as soon as I turn the volume above 0, so it's very sensitive, which is a good thing. I think it's a great little amp, just wish it covered more of the audio spectrum.

Pros
  • Impressive
Cons
  • Was damaged

OKAY amplifier suitable for cars and automotive electronics

This amplifier is small...very small and light. Maybe you could attach it to the back of the head unit. This amp has no crossovers, gain or anything else. But at the same time, connecting the amplifier is very simple and easy. It's a little overrated as this amp is probably 25W x 2 RMS into 4 ohms and maybe 30W into 2 ohms but still sounds OK. I recommend it if you just want to hide the amp to give your speakers a little boost.

Pros
  • Rugged design
Cons
  • Crumpled packaging

Tpa 3118 ftw: Amplifier

I was skeptical until I opened it and was pleasantly surprised by two tpa3118d2 chip amplifiers. I recommend an external fuse if you don't like soldiers every time you blow a fuse like a small 5 amp / 16 ga fuse. For example inline fuse holders. It would be nice to see Oscon capacitors, Coilcraft chokes and the like lol, but a couple of Ti chips selling for $4 each is a pretty big expense for a $36 amp. Good job Taramps for marketing. I'd love to see 4/6 channel options with gain control, DIP…

Pros
  • Excellent Design
Cons
  • Problems
