Make sure all the devices you are communicating with are compatible. Tried using this with a computer that was Bluetooth 4.0. Not sure if this has anything to do with the issues, but it kept freezing after a few minutes of use. Also, the distance it works is not very far, maybe 6-7 feet.

Great product. The only problem is that the keyboard came alone. And then I contacted support to send the actual kit and I had to send the keyboard back. The Targus (M&K) mouse and keyboard kit works very well for me. I'm using it with a Surface (Acer) tablet running Windows 10 (original Acer keyboard/trackpad no longer works). On a long trip to Florida I had to take all my work and personal computers with me. Getting a Bluetooth keyboard and Bluetooth mouse saved me. The keyboard is small (like my laptop) and therefore easy to use. It needed some tweaking as the ctrl and fn keys were swapped with the laptop keyboard, but I adjusted them. I like having a Bluetooth mouse because my other mouse used a USB connection and that required additional connections.
