Targus VersaType Keyboard Case for 9.7-Inch iPad (2017), iPad Pro, iPad Air 2, and iPad Air - Black (THZ620US) Review

Obviously durable case for your iPad with bluetooth keyboard. This is a vastly improved case over the previous edition that hasn't withstood much wear and tear. So far the thing works great. I highly recommend it if you travel frequently with your iPad and need a keyboard. I use it for work and constantly rotate the case, I order to use a horizontal position for signing documents.

After unboxing and charging for a day I tried to sync it with the iPad to no avail. The keyboard and three LEDs light up when the case is turned on, but stay on for a few seconds and then everything goes off. Pairing does not take place. I called Targus and they advised me to return it for a replacement. The replacement did the same. Now I have to send it back. The iPad pairs well with other devices, including the Beats Pill and my home surround sound system. No more Targus products for me…

I'm on the second one right now. My first bit the bullet because it fell off the chair too many times, even though it worked great. Exactly what I wanted and needed. My second, however, I am not satisfied. I've had the second one for 6-8 months now and it keeps draining my iPad's battery. It doesn't matter if it's closed, my iPad always turns on.
