The packaging was great and one of the two frames was perfect - 5 stars. The other wasn't so good. On the second the glass was not mounted and glued correctly so the glass in the front was out of the frame at one end and the glued end was not in the correct recess so you could not fit the painting into the frame. I had to be very careful prying off the glued end and removing the bead of glue that was sticking to the end of the glass and the frame itself before I could use it properly with the…

The frames are fairly standard black frames but they are of good quality. Can be hung vertically or horizontally. The rugs were a nice touch if you want a matte 6x8 photo. I use them in a really nice standard 9x12 frame for some of the watercolor paintings I've made and have removed the mats (actually leaving them behind the painting as this helps the pieces stay in place and lay flat). Very impressed with these frames in which I wanted to frame my work. I put a frame next to it, installed fresh out of the box with the original mat. They are very securely packaged (2 per box and shrink wrapped to keep them from moving) with the frame lenses facing each other and separated by foam padding. And this section was wrapped in bubble wrap and placed in a box with closed cell foam around the edge PLUS 4 thick cardboard corners to protect the corners! So everything was safe and sound…
