The scale seems to be good. . . not sure how exactly. . . unlike #s in a cardiac rehab center. . . The numbers seem to jump and sometimes don't stabilize. . . will hold and try not to move it, but when tucked between two shelves in the bathroom it will need to be moved to use it and then the weight needs to be readjusted. . . I hope I like it, but it's too early to talk about it.

This is a beautiful scale, perfect size, easy to read. I just hope my husband doesn't drop anything on it because it's real glass. I thought it was acrylic or something more durable for the bathroom. Our old one drowned in a flood, but electronic scales don't like floods. Of course, a mechanical one would probably rust.

The Taylor bathroom scale worked great for several days. The backlight of the digital display does not work. What worries me is that if there is a problem with the electricity, what else will go wrong? My husband and I were also disappointed that the scale was made in China. Oh, could that be the problem? Very good value for less than $20. Usage is very simple. I just plugged in the battery, hit the ground and it worked right away. Didn't even read the instructions. Storage is easy. The product is very thin and compact, so it is simply pushed aside after use. I put mine under the dresser. It was with Maxwell batteries that I know.
