Was glad to get this for our rescue turtle. Until she left 4 days later. The engine still hummed, but there was no filtering.

The filter is small but powerful enough. In terms of water flow, it moves a lot of water for its size. The problem is that the filter media is small and fills up/cloggs quickly when there is a high biological load. Works very well when the media is clean. Works in any size tank but is not a replacement for a large cooktop or canister filter. If I had the right app for it, I would buy it again. That's a good value.
