Great for piercing leather

I find it thick enough that I can pierce leather without worrying about what's underneath. I've also noticed that it doesn't wear out much, even with multiple uses.

Pros
  • Positive only
Cons
  • Some bugs

good mat but not for my use

good mat. It feels good in the hand but is too "bouncy" for my use and absorbs the impact of the stumps so they don't cut through. I wanted to use it to punch holes and slits in belts, but the punches won't penetrate this lining.

Pros
  • complete set
Cons
  • no insurance

This poundo board works great. It's small, not entirely flat, but I use it under an anvil or under a slab of granite. I can use it to pierce leather and set rivets late at night without disturbing anyone sleeping in the next room. This is not a cutting board or perforation board. Many people think this is a sewing board and is NOT called a clicker board or cutting board. A POUNDO board like this is designed to deaden noise and absorb hammer or mallet hits and prevent them from being loud andโ€ฆ

Pros
  • Easy setup
Cons
  • There are other interesting options.

Punch and Perforation Block

This block must be from a large roll as it does not lay flat. I tried to use it and with the curved center it causes some problems during use. Maybe I could heat it up with a heat gun and probably flatten it out, but I'll most likely get it back.

Pros
  • Punch Block
Cons
  • A newer model could have been chosen

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Bent. Bent. But functional.

It's the right thickness and very forgiving makeup, but the comments about the curve are no joke. After three warm-ups with a hair dryer and trying to "flattenโ€ under heavy weights, the bend is still pronounced. If you don't put it under an anvil or other heavy object, then this is not the best option.

Pros
  • Leathercraft
Cons
  • So far so good

Nice little board: Crafting

I bought this for leather stamping as my other poundo board has holes from stamping and such. Although a small board is the ideal size at the moment. Would I buy again or the same but one size bigger. Oh, by the way, it's a little hollow when you get it. A little warmth and she lies down immediately. Not too much heat will melt it. I used the hair dryer with the bowl or top of the bow up. He heated the center, put something heavy on it while it cooled, kept heating it, and bent it with hisโ€ฆ

Pros
  • Stamping and stamping
Cons
  • Some little things
