Great protection for my Dexcom sensor.

Tegaderm provides a great second skin that holds my Dexcom CGMS sensor. Without Tegaderm, the adhesive it contains will begin to peel off after a few days. But with Tegaderm, it can easily last a few weeks.

Ideal for CGM sensor and transmitter.

I use the CGM with an insulin pump and it is the perfect size to keep it attached for 7 days without any adhesive burns. Plus it doesn't leave a horrible sticky residue on my transmitter. This is much better than the sticky patches that came with the sensors.

Pros
  • Durable Test Results
Cons
  • Crumpled

Old product best in Bandages & Dressing Supplies

All in all I think this product would be a great product for wound dressing. However, the product that was sent to me is worse. I believe the article is quite old as some bandages stick well and some don't. In addition, there are several labels on the outer packaging, with the top label indicating the expiry date. This leads me to believe that the actual use by date has been changed. In general, I would advise buying a product from a store to ensure quality.

I go to first aid.

I swear by it and it works for me. Please do not take this as medical advice. I am a long distance runner and decided to run two half marathons in one week, 5km and 10km. After the first half marathon I got a blister and made the mistake of popping and removing some skin which left a hole in my toe as I didn't want to lose my race. I wrapped it around the open area and continued. I recently broke my ankle and suffered a very ugly fall injury. Because I was in an air bandage I had to keep it…

it works, it's cheap. If you have the money, buy extra to donate.

My wife used this for her radiation treatment. She has very, very sensitive skin and we figured it would make her feel worse. The doctor suggested another brand, I can't compare them as they were the only ones we tried. What I can tell you is that the doctor is so impressed with the results that she asked us to donate the rest of the box. we will and will donate another full box. it is easy to apply, takes time, can be overlapped, you can easily trim partially loosened areas within a week. If…

Works great for her and she is 95 years old

I originally bought these for my mother in law to cover her pain patch rather than the SMALL pin on the 'cases' that come with them . Works great for her and she is 95 years old. I then bought these for my husband to cover his blood pressure patch, again because the 'covers' that come with the patch don't stick well and are quite thick. He's doing great too. He is very active and the Tegaderm is light, doesn't cling to clothing (he alternates hands with the patch) and lasts a week with no…

Good product! in first aid

I have been a nurse in the intensive care unit for 33 years, one of my favorite care products is always Tegaderm! Now that I'm a patient and sensitive to almost all adhesives (tape is fine but doesn't stay on skin for long) I needed something to keep the pain patches securely on skin as well as some vials to keep from time to time to time place. And I also have a power connector that needs to be closed when accessed. The answer to ALL three questions and not only) TEGADERM! Delighted I found a…
