Ideal for covering T1D devices!

My six year old son has type 1 diabetes and wears a small continuous blood glucose meter (CGM) that helps us monitor his blood/sugar levels. He typically wears each CGM for about two weeks before it needs to be replaced with a new one. The adhesive on these devices is fine and works well for the most part, but there are times when the edges peel early. In this case we always use 3M Tegaderm dressings. The clear window makes it very easy to cover perfectly with CGM and the bandage is waterproof…

Used to fix estrogen patches

I know and love Tegaderm, I'm usually allergic to glue from tape, patches etc. Never had a reaction to this product. I use an estrogen patch and change it weekly to be honest if you don't use the tegaderma patch over it the patch will come off the first time you shower. My doctor said this is a great idea. I can only use a small Tegaderm patch to keep the patch intact and working throughout the week. It takes 7 souls. I have never had a reaction and am not sensitive to this product. I wear the…

A lifetime addition to my first aid kit. Must try!

As long as you know how to place them correctly they are amazing and stay in place longer than anything I've ever used in my years of breastfeeding or personally. It works best if you make sure there are no air bubbles or creases and when removing, run your finger around the edge just outside the "frame". Also, preparing the area by cleaning it with an alcohol pad and allowing it to air dry (so you should always use rubbing alcohol for it to be effective) will help ensure your Tegaderm stays…

Great product, love these.

Found these in the hospital when my elderly parent had a 'skin tear'. She has thin, fragile skin, and cuts and cuts appear on her hands all the time. She is also very sensitive to adhesives on band-aids, even paper tape. They last a week and don't cause any irritation at all. They are thin, mostly almost invisible, and the cuts underneath heal beautifully. In any case, this is the best pruning remedy that can stay closed for a long time. Clean and dry thoroughly, apply some specific material…

The best of the best in first aid

I really like this product. My moody skin seems to cooperate with this and it's easy to remove ONLY by using an alcohol wipe/spray or alcohol based hand sanitizer. a trick I learned from some nurses. This is the glue for my needs and the water resistance is not amazing but not bad either. These clear film dressings are quite expensive and most of them aren't that good. Tegaderm is my favorite as I had a lot of experience with it in the hospital. This is the perfect size for my needs. The price…

Ideal for covering a wound and keeping dry when showering

I had a deep wound that wouldn't heal so I bought a pack of these and some 'wound gel'. I changed the transparent Tagaderm dressing every day and used a "wound gel" that kept the wound moist and promoted healing. The Tagaderm dressings were easy to apply and apply as they have a pre-split frame around them so they can be applied without touching the dressing. They are transparent so you can easily see where to put them on the wound and see the condition of the wound. They're also flawless: they

Great clothes and fantastic value for money!

I'm on IV treatment 3 days in a row every 4 weeks so I have a port in my chest. About an hour before it was available I slathered lidocaine cream on my skin and needed something to cover it so the cream would stay in place and not rub off. This bandage is very suitable for that! It's much easier than sticking saran tape to my skin. ha ha. The price (under $8) is great! If the price is the same or higher in a pharmacy, there are usually less than 10 wound dressings in a box. Obviously I go…
