It is convenient to take with you in the car when you need to take a break while hiking or walking. As a hobby photographer and an elderly person with a prosthetic hip and two prosthetic knees, it's nice to carry something like this around when you just need to rest for a few minutes. Lightweight and easy to carry.

My husband has always been looking for somewhere to sit while checking tire pressures and doing other "low-level" jobs when we travel in our campervan. This seat is perfect. It takes up very little space but opens up into a very comfortable stool that can be adjusted to different heights. He can also use it for fishing when we find the perfect little pond or stream while traveling. PS We are over 70 and not as flexible as we used to :)

We bought this for my 6'1" husband to take on a hike/motorcycle ride.
