I really liked the colors included. Most other kits only come with 4 or 5 colors. Like all hair chalks I've used, this one works best on blonde hair. My kids love it for crazy hair day at school. My son sweats a lot so you can't make it through a day with him. My daughter loves to color each strand of the braid individually. It stains hands when applied, but washes off with soap and water. For some reason the pink doesn't wash out like the other colors after a wash.

Easy to apply, can be applied in small strokes or applied in a broad layer for more colour. As stated on the packaging, it shows up better on blonde hair but still shows up on brown hair. It washes off easily. My 6 year old daughter loves brushing these hair chalks! She has medium hair and the color looks amazing on her hair. Now she is looking forward to the upcoming Halloween and Christmas party. So much fun! The price is worth it.

I was really looking forward to this product and the ability to temporarily add color to my hair but it didn't work at all. It's almost invisible on dark hair, and what little is visible just disappears when I so much as touch it or try to comb or style the hair. It happens too easily. I really wanted this, but was sadly disappointed.

This product hit my fingers and scalp but didn't affect my hair color at all. I have blonde to medium red hair and the black color barely shows through despite my best efforts. It wasn't very good. I used them at a slumber party and the colors really only came out on the lightest hair. They were also a bit messy and it took a while for the color to pay off and on most hair the color really didn't last very long. The girls loved it, but I wouldn't buy it again.

We're getting ready for Halloween. I tried it on my blonde daughter. All colors match perfectly except white. First style your hair and then apply color. At first I tried getting my hair wet and rubbing it with chalk but it didn't work. What worked was dipping the chalk in water and then rubbing the chalk through your hair. The wetter the chalk, the lighter the color on the hair. Don't touch your hair when you're done. Washing out was easy. It took two washes. Then there was only a faint hint…
