They looked big but fit me when I put them on. They are comfortable and warm. I don't like slippers and I don't like wearing shoes at home, but our hard floors were cold in regular socks this winter. It was the perfect solution.

I would LOVE these socks IF they didn't leave a quarter inch chunk of what they are made of. It's like dog fur and it's really horrible when you wash it a lot and they stain pretty much everything. I spent a lot of time ripping them off my clothes. Can you say CHINA?

No noticeable shrinkage after warm machine wash and tumble dry low before first use. They are soft to the touch, easy to wear and help keep feet warm. Subsequent gentle washing and drying also without noticeable shrinkage and stretching. I only wear them to sleep (which was my intention) and find them too thick for shoes and slippers. LOVE terramar product. Don't expect a tight fit from them. Although the sizing appears to be correct, it still feels like wearing two pairs of socks. They have a hardened (100% foldable and foldable, nothing super hard) bottom and are "different" than most outdoor socks. At the same time, they're warm and comfortable, and even better when you're on a hard surface.

I wanted warm socks to wear at home in the cold. It is great. They're not as warm as I'd like, but they're warmer than other thick socks I've tried. With big calves and ankles and wide feet it's really difficult for me to find socks that really fit and are comfortable for me. These fit me perfectly. Just sent back a set of these Terramar thermo wagons. Bought a pair last year and they were good. Great price for 2 pairs of winter socks. But the new pair is much tighter, I have shoe size 13 and a narrow foot, so size XL should fit well. And they started itching as soon as I put them on. It felt like my feet were in a bag of fiberglass insulation. Very disappointing so I had to send them back. You'll probably have to pay extra and buy Smartwool socks.

These socks are big enough in the foot area. I wear size 13 5E shoes. BUT at the top they are VERY small. climb on my calf. This is similar to how XL sock manufacturers make the foot area big enough, but use the Small or Medium size for the top band.
