Seems to be the kind of earbuds I used for snow sports as an adult but it was difficult to find them for kids. Haven't used them yet but they look and feel good and fit well for tall 5 and 8 year olds. The only problem is if they lose her at ski school.

We have just returned from a ski trip in Vail where it was -7 one morning as we walked up the mountain. I was afraid the children would freeze to death, but they did their job under their mittens. I used hand warmers in between pads and mittens but the kids refused and thankfully stayed warm all day. Very happy with this purchase.

I measured my 7 year old's hands and he measured the small one. There's no room to grow, but they helped keep his hands warm with minimal bulk. After skiing over the weekend they were so damaged that it turned out I didn't need room to wax as they would be thrown away after this season. Any contact with the velcro on coats or your waterproof gloves will really ruin them. They are pretty shabby and cannot be passed on to a toddler or used for another season.

I bought another pair of gloves with a slightly thicker lining which my son didn't like. He needed something to keep his hands warm under his hockey gloves. I finally saw and tried these gloves. They were thin enough that he could wear them underneath his catcher and blocker without interfering with his ability to catch pucks. He no longer left the ice in great pain, with hands so numb he almost burst into tears. They're so thin it's amazing how they actually keep your hands warm.

I love the gloves! They fit very well and are absolutely comfortable. I used the hand measurement guide and the gloves are perfect - small enough that fingertips aren't too long, wrist size is snug but not tight, gloves are big enough, they don't stretch uncomfortably or restrict movement.
