I love these straw lids!

I've knocked my 24 oz Tervis glass off my bedside table MANY TIMES and the lid has come off and my drink has soaked the carpet. In desperation I looked for another brand of jar and while I don't like celebrity brand names, I really like my 24oz Tervis jars and decided to try one of these straw lids. They close securely with a *click* sound and really don't pop out accidentally. You definitely have to give them a strong push to get the covers off. I have now ordered several colors. Also, without

It contains my delicious drinks!

For the record, I always carry a Tervis glass with me. I quickly found that I could fit an acrylic straw into regular lids, and here we go! I saved so much money by using my mugs and bringing my own drink instead of driving my car and wasting money on a soda I never needed. Unfortunately, I've developed a terrible habit of spilling the contents of my Tervis mugs. Most of the time I spill the contents on myself or in my purse, as usual when my hands are full and the cup is wedged precariously…

fits very snug - maybe too snug for arthritic hands to remove

It fits snug and is as snug as can be with a straw hole. Be sure to push it in until it clicks into place. He's doing a great job.
