I am very disappointed in this jar. These are 3 different brands I have tried and this is the worst. My original mug kept the drink cold and the ice didn't melt overnight. It wore out so I tried another cheaper one that didn't just keep the ice from melting for 5 or 6 hours. So I tried this one, a bit more expensive and since it's Tervis I thought it would be the best. I was amazed that Tervis keeps my drink cold for over 10 hours. I don't just mean "cold," I mean "cold iceberg"; and the ice cubes, although smaller, were still in the glass. I stayed up all night with a sick dog and the next morning I still had ice cubes in my soda. Believe it or not, it keeps your hot beverage "hot" for a very long time.
