Cable "custom " for GMMK

use with Glorious GMMK. It works! Surprisingly tight USB-C connection given other reviews that said otherwise. It's hard to complain as this is a $40 "custom" twisted pair cable. In my opinion it's a bit short and the aviator connector is a tight fit (considering it's painted) but it's a great little cable at a good price. Also the light blue and white looks great with my setup!

Pros
  • It seems that now everything is confusing

Great inexpensive spiral cable!

I connected this to Streak65, two drop alt boards, NK65 and Carina. No problem. Other reviews claiming there is a difference in RGB brightness need to look at the MOBO performance delivered to their USB. Drop keyboards require more current to run the LEDs than others, it's the keyboard's fault, not the cable's. The longer the cable, including coils and the like, the greater the resistance and power dissipation.

Pros
  • Nice
Cons
  • Almost never

It's not good for cables and connections.

. I've seen mostly bad reviews on all these jacketed aviator cables. on Revain and decided to take a chance. It's not like this. Keeps disconnecting as soon as I get it. The Type-C connector is also quite thick, so if you have a narrow USB connector on your keyboard, it won't fit. or you have to force it, which can loosen the end of the cable and cause problems when moving the keyboard etc. I think I'll spend $100 for a durable cable.

Pros
  • . Expensive but decent.
Cons
  • . No form required.

Determined to take a chance despite the negative reviews

I was willing to return this product based on the negative reviews but decided to take a chance as it was half the price of high end mechanical flying cables and looking for decent quality cables. The item was delivered quickly and works great. I tried it on Keychron K8 and Ajazz K870T and it works. No issues at the time of writing this review. As others have said it can be a little tight so be careful but firm when inserting the USB. Would I buy again if there were more mixed color variations.

Pros
  • Very impressive
Cons
  • Weight

ONLY 4 MONTHS ONLY!

Everything worked pretty well at first, my desktop was stationary and I literally never moved it. After about 2 months of use, I noticed that my keyboard was losing power randomly. It got worse and worse over time. The amount of time I have to fiddle with the cord has grown over time. Now it literally doesn't work. The USB-C connector is very thin and came loose after I unplugged the keyboard three times. AVOID IT AT ALL COSTS, spend a little more and get something better and more reliable.

Pros
  • Quality build
Cons
  • Almost everything is there

USB-C Aviator Solid Twisted Cable

The spool is quite large so if you need a smaller spool I would look elsewhere. The cable material seems solid. Both ends of the USB are tightly sealed with shrink tubing. The USB-C port is a decent size. Works well with my Glorious GMMK Compact. It technically works with my HyperX Alloy Origins Core TKL. However, it is quite a tight fit and will likely damage the pipe over time. The pilot plug ensures a pleasant feel when screwing in. The keyboards had no issues with RGB connectivity or powerโ€ฆ

Very satisfied would buy more

This is my first time using aviator cables for keyboards but I have bought and made special cables for a few other items so I'm not exactly a beginner. Overall quality is pretty good, obviously there are better quality cables out there but they cost almost or exactly double the price. Their goal was to mass produce high quality cables and they definitely hit the mark. I would definitely buy again. It's connected to a GMMK Pro and I haven't had any issues with incorrect key presses or RGBโ€ฆ

Pros
  • Impressive
Cons
  • boring packaging

I bought this to use with a keebio sinc keyboard I built. I didn't expect this to be a cheaper alternative to custom cables. However, it broke after very little use. I should have sent it back straight away. But I figured it had more to do with mass produced cables with bigger/longer cases. But the USB-C end seemed loosened up. And now it stays unconnected/enabled for my keyboard. It flashes and if you shake it the lights come on, but that's about it. I thought the cable had failed in theโ€ฆ

Pros
  • Nice to use
Cons
  • old

If you're wondering what's going on.

For those who don't know, these are cool looking cables that perform like any other USB-C cable, but look cool. They are typically used for non-standard keyboards on a person's desktop or in a PC gaming setup. The reason they are so cheap is because they are pre-made and very small compared to regular aviator cables. You are limited to the colors shown here instead of matching the color of each part of the cable; This allows most people to precisely match the cable to the color scheme of theโ€ฆ

Pros
  • Excellent Overall Performance
Cons
  • Doubtful
