My Opinion on this Novel

The three main characters were each offensive and slimy and were well developed by Grisham. I thought that while the idea of prisoners continuing their nefarious activities behind bars wasn't an outrageous idea, these guys' plans were pretty ingenious. I enjoyed my readers' take on prison life and thought Grisham described it beautifully. Our good guy, Aaron Lake, was respectable enough to easily fall behind. Trevor, a good-for-nothing lawyer, and wily Teddy, head of the CIA, are added to this…

Incredibly fast story is disappointing

I used to enjoy reading John Grisham's books but lost interest in his books and didn't read them for years. I picked up this book hoping that it would reignite my enthusiasm for his novels. It's not like this. This book was written in his familiar fast-paced style, but the plot wasn't that far-fetched. None of the characters were particularly likeable, so I really couldn't get into any of them. Most notably, I found the story too naive about Grisham's perception of presidential politics and how

Very disappointing in Mystery, Thriller & Suspense

So far you couldn't go wrong with John Grisham's book. It's not John O'Hara, but his books have always been interesting and engaging. I can't understand why he wrote this, other than to fulfill his obligation to the publisher. There are two plots that you know will eventually be linked, but until then you really don't care. The "Brothers" are three convicts who were judges of one kind or another and found themselves behind bars due to character flaws that manifested themselves at an inopportune
