I was looking for something to wear during a snowboarding trip. I had looked around and found nothing that really suited my needs until I came across this balaclava. It can be worn many different ways which is nice because I was looking for something that could double as a mask for motorcycle rides. Let me start with I have a giant head. This fits just fine. It has a lot of options on how to use it but I’ve only figured out a face mask and a scarf like use where I just shove it around my neck. That said, this thing is awesome the face mask works very well, you can breathe through it and it keeps you warm. I recommend this highly.

Saw this balaclava recommended by a pro snowboarder Ryan Knapton. His comments were that this was the best balaclava he has ever used in decades. Excellent breathability, fits perfect and does a great job of temperature control. For this price it doesn’t get much better

Excellent product. I am an Arborist and have been looking for something to replace wearing a head band ear muff to cover my ears and a conventional face mask to protect my face. I bought both the standard and arctic and both are nice with a good fit. The standard is quite thin, which is fine, and the arctic is just slightly thicker. I would have liked the 'arctic' to be a little more thick, but I guess the Nordic would fit that purpose, so in retrospect, I wish I would have bought that one over the arctic

Keeps me warm. This is one of my essential base layers. I really like how you can roll it up as a hood and over your mouth and nose and roll it back down once you're inside. I would probably be a lot colder and the wind would get through my jacket (I feel like cold wind has a way of finding the smallest opening in your outerwear) without this. I commute by bike in the winter and a good balaclava is essential for staying comfortable. These balaclavas are some of the better ones I've tried. The best thing about them is the fit. This was just what I needed. I bought this specifically for my trip to Iceland last week and believe me; it it was much needed. At first I had my doubts seeing how thin it is compared to beanies and other fleece materials but I was pleasantly surprised it held up to blustery winds and snow. There was one evening where the wind was so strong, the snow felt like needles in the areas not shielded by the balaclava but the rest of my face was well protected. I highly recommend the product.
