We've used this double set for years, it's great! Heat home-made food a little hot (not much), pack it in a shorter thermos, and by lunchtime, the temperature is ideal for kids to eat deliciously. Pour chilled cold water or milk into a larger thermos and it stays cold. Fits perfectly in backpack lunch bags. Easy to clean, soak and wash in soapy water, done!

My 3 year old likes to drink from this because of the button lid. We haven't spilled or leaked anything in my bag, in his car seat, or anywhere in the house. The only downside is that the bottle needs to be hand washed. I bought a 2 piece set because it was only slightly more expensive than a straw mug and an insulated food container is good for picnics. I tested the insulated container with water for leaks and sealed it.

The perfect set for school lunches. We've been using the thermos for a while and this set lives up to expectations. My only advice is not to over-tighten the lid of a food container if you are using it to reheat food; A vacuum effect is created, which makes opening it very difficult, even for adults.
