I loved this thermos for a while until I started noticing the horrible taste of coffee. I noticed countless tiny black dots that I thought were just ground coffee from my French press. Unfortunately, this went on for several weeks. I even threw away my French Press assuming something was wrong with it! When I finally realized it was coming from the thermos itself, I was disgusted! I am terribly disappointed!

Took me about two months, I'd say average use. It keeps hot drinks hot for about 8 hours, the same applies to cold drinks. My problem is related to everything else. Almost every rubber gasket on this thing is extremely thin and barely seals against leaks. If you accidentally turn the thing, the liquid will flow out immediately. The metal case might seem very solid, but I accidentally dropped it on the floor and it buckled almost immediately. It starts crashing after you open/close the thing…

This is without a doubt the best Thermos/Beverage Container I have ever used and I have always taken hot coffee to work for over 20 years. The coffee I pour in the morning is still great for my last cup at 3pm on the way home.
