I bought this harness for an upcoming hike. I needed something lightweight that wouldn't get soaked in sweat or rain and, most importantly, made in the USA. To test my strength, I spent hours chopping with a chainsaw, pulling weeds, chopping wood, moving hundreds of hay bales, and walking. while it works without errors! I definitely recommend this belt.

I ordered this belt in red back in 2017 and have been wearing it as a day and hiking belt for three years and it is great. I ordered black in May. exclusively for carrying a camping knife. The belt is shorter and the material is much cheaper and thinner. I've worn it just as a belt a couple of times and give it a thumbs down. I realize they have switched the material to a lower quality material in the last three years. It's a shame because the buckle is great.

I was looking for a nice belt that I could wear either with my amphibious shorts without worrying about them getting wet, or with my everyday clothes in places I'm likely to go through metal detectors would go. Yes, other reviewers are right - the webbing twists too easily (in a narrow direction, like it's trying to turn into a rope instead of a belt). After wearing it once, it was clearly deformed. Too bad - the buckle is good quality and the brown color is the best of any brown belt of this type I've tried (unlike the wider "military" version of this belt which is more typically "milk chocolate brown") - it is deeper, dark brown with a slight olive tint.
