I've had an extension cord for 60 days. worked great. It was plugged into an outside socket and the 3 plugs were used indoors (i.e. not exposed to water/rain). Worked great until last week. The circuit kept disconnecting from the GFI outlet it was plugged into. I connected each item separately, but it turned out to be an extension cord. I have had this extension for a few months now and I find it to be a good rating based on usage. At first the cable seemed good. Then I noticed that all the electronics connected to it kept shutting down. It turns out that the sockets on this cable are "free" and moving inside. When I take the plug from the outside, I can feel the inner socket moving back and forth, breaking the electrical connection. Even the slightest movement causes the pins and plugs to "disconnect”.
