very well made from durable material

I needed a new backpack for my upcoming vacation trips because my current backpack was outdated. I wanted a bag that can hold a lot and also has multiple compartments so I can keep all my stuff separate. I don't like having a big bag and I put 10 different items in it. I found this backpack here for about $30 less than their online store and even Nordstrom. It has a strap to carry your bag over small carry-on luggage and fits perfectly under an airplane seat. Other backpacks go flat after…

Like a chic tortoiseshell

As usual with Thule, this is a beautiful and very durable product made of the best materials: excellent quality fabrics and zippers and very strong stitching. The two main compartments are fairly standardly organized, with nicely padded sleeves for your laptop and tablet(s), a panel of small pockets, and plenty of open storage. The exterior is pretty sturdy and when the bag is packed it reminds me of a tortoiseshell (albeit stylish). Then there are two more front compartments, one of which is a

Very high quality backpack, ideal for city and suburban travel

Like all Thule backpacks, this one is very well made. The stitching and materials are top notch. This is a backpack that will last for years. In terms of getting the most out of this backpack, it's definitely suited for your city/suburb commute or just everyday packing during the day. While this backpack can definitely be used as an outdoor last resort, it really isn't meant for hiking/camping/hiking. The laptop bag fits my 15 inch laptop very well. I can also fit a tablet with my laptop. All…

Bad: - No. Conclusion: This Thule Construct backpack is now my everyday backpack. It houses all of my work equipment from a Dell Latitude 14" and an iPad Pro 11" as well as my peripherals. My peripherals include: speakerphone, power adapter, access point, mouse, portable battery, and cables. The backpack…

Fantastic design and comfort

Thule backpack has a sturdy design with multiple pockets of different sizes and shapes. The main compartment comfortably fits a laptop up to 15 inches and a tablet. I could fit a 13" laptop in the padded main compartment, a 10.5" iPad and a 12" tablet in the same main compartment. The next level of pockets can hold pens, keys, a notepad, a drawing pad, or a general fastener. Everyone. There are several small pockets that can be used for a passport or other documents. There is a small zippered…

Pros
  • Main compartment organization with briefcase and multiple accessory pockets
Cons
  • Includes negative

Less than expected - wrong specs on Thule website

First the bad. The specs on the Thule website list the Construct 28L as 12.6 x 12.2 x 18.9 inches. That's about the same size as the backpack it replaces. However, when I opened the box, I was surprised at how small it was. The label on the bag confirmed it was 28L. But I also noticed that the size on the label is 12.2 x 9.4 x 19.7. These dimensions are pretty close to the loaded bag sizes I measure. It's not a big deal, but being about 3 inches deep makes a big difference in what you can fit…

Pros
  • Keep your phone or glasses in a secure, padded security case
