Broke on first use (video of damage included)

First I have attached a video to show exactly how the belt broke. I didn't even wear this belt before it broke. Rather, as usual, I fastened the belt simply by putting it on. However, it was a bit difficult to unclip and it broke when trying to unclip the belt. This is unacceptable quality as the ball at the end of the pen just came loose while trying to use the belt. I would have thought it would be even harder to take apart when I'm actually wearing a belt. I am sad that it breaks so easily…

Not for Truckers on Men

I'm a chubby truck driver so I've always had to deal with a pinched belt buckle. So I started using non-scratch mechanical straps (velcro without a buckle). They work well but the velcro can't hold on as I prefer as I wear the knife on my belt. I found this belt, it looks great and fits well, real leather is sturdy. Unfortunately, the point of failure is the most important part. The pin that actually hooks into the holes on the belt has a small locking ball on the end that sits in the right…

Buy a larger belt than you need, but be sure to buy one.

I liked the belt, I think it will last a long time. I say this because I bought the Dickeys brand and it didn't last long and keeps falling apart. This one seems really safe and much better made. This is a single piece of leather. Only bad thing is I bought a 32 and there is a hole that fits 32 perfectly but I can't use the holes anymore I guess it just makes sure I don't get fatter. I can get a lot slimmer, although there are a lot of holes for that. So if you have a 32, buy a 36 or so and…

Ideal for up to 5 months

This belt is good and I loved it until it accidentally broke. It has a pin end with a ball to hold the strap in place. Well, once when I took off the belt, the bullet at the end of the pen just fell off. I've never struggled with this so I was really shocked when it started. Upon closer inspection, I realized that part of the ball had just broken and was now unable to return properly. Great strap until it breaks. I request a replacement. Not sure if I qualify but if I get a replacement I will…

Non-Pro Level

I purchased this belt on June 14th, not September 10th at the time of this review. The belt started out great. The scratch-free design is perfect for people like me, a mechanic who needs to bend over painted surfaces. After only 5 months of daily use, the strap is no longer usable because the small retaining ball has fallen off and gone. The leather itself appears to be a quality product but as can be seen in the picture it scratches when trying to buckle the belt. I've had cheap Walmart belts…
