⌚ Timex Unisex TW2P72000 Weekender 38mm Black Tweed Slip-Thru Strap Watch Review

Superb tweed strap with a soft leather lining. The only reason for 4 stars and not 5, Timex is to muffle the loud ticking. drives me crazy trying to sleep so i pull out the needle and just reset my time when i put it on.

I like a big watch and this is perfect to replace others I've had. I just wanted a basic Indiglo watch with a 24 hour dial and NOTHING else - no date, no month, no bells, no whistles. That fits the bill perfectly. The tweed strap is unique and cool, but the leather lining is stiff, especially where it overhangs the top of the lugs that a regular watch strap would fit. I have to wear it more often to make it softer. Then I think everything will be fine.

It's cheap. It's noisy. They are a little chunky on my wrist, although I can wear large watches of different styles just fine. You need to know what you are getting when you order it. I have this for when my regular watch doesn't match my outfit and it's cute enough. So update 07/21/17: This watch is loud, at meetings, in the car, in the shop, always tick tick tick tick. I have to keep it away from the bedroom at night because you can hear ticking throughout the room when the central air and fan are running! Original rating: Classic watches. I'm not a fan of chunky giant watches and this watch is big enough to read the time comfortably. The polished bezel is a nice touch, while the tweed strap adds a classic touch. Very thin material. This twists excess tape material. The metal bar that's supposed to hold the strap in place doesn't move, so there's no way to fix this without cutting the remaining strap, which I don't want to do. In case you're wondering, my wrists are medium sized. I have one of the striped belts for the weekend and I don't have this problem with this belt. I'm disappointed because it's much more appropriate for work than naked (hence the day off).
