I bought this watch for my 5 year old nephew. I liked their look and thought it was safer than buying licensed watches for characters he might not like in 6 months time. Setting the time and date was very easy. My nephew was able to put it on with velcro without help. My daughter loves her new watch. I like the reliability of the TImex brand (I've had several over the years). I also like the Velcro as mine Daughter is 8 years old and skinny as a rod.I didn't think a buckle strap would fit.Also,it's easier for her to dress and undress herself.The main downside is that the buttons are a bit difficult to use,especially for little hands. Something about their small size or shape makes it difficult to squeeze them in. I also wish there were more color options but

The clock is cute and ideal for children aged 5-10. I think younger kids will be confused by the buttons and older kids will be confused when they see "baby clock". " The band is a bit stiff at first, but I think it will work if worn for a long period of time. Getting dates and such is confusing with timers, chronographs and alarm clocks.
