This sleeve is not "crystal clear" as the description says. It's more of a matte plastic. It works with the Apple Smart Cover and fits the 2018 9.7-inch Apple iPad. When buying protective elements for my Apple devices, I prefer to preserve the integrity of the device. Looks great in person. The matte effect doesn't look rough, so we paste the decals. Photos or stickers underneath do not affect visibility. The texture on the body makes it grippy. I doubt the impact protection since it's made of hard plastic, but it covers corners pretty well, especially if you buy it to use with the Apple Smart Cover.
